4/19/08 - Thanks to all who made it out to our February show at the C&P. We appreciated the warm reception! We've just posted some of Chuck Socha's cool photos. Thanks, Chuck, for so
kindly and generously documenting the show.

1/1/08 - Finally posted Don's photos of the acoustic show at the Kirkland Eagles Club. Thanks, Don. Also, posted some shots from our show at the C&P in West Seattle. Thanks go out to Dave McKay for these. Happy New Year everybody.

4/21/07 - A lovely review posted today on the British webzine Americana UK.

4/4/07 - We're charting! RIYL Music compiles the Top 30 charts of college radio stations, and then ranks all the releases that make an appearance in those charts. This week, we've broken into the top 50%! Thanks to all those stations that are spinning Adoration...

3/30/07 - Just came across this review in the Belgian webzine Rootstime. None of us speaks Dutch, but we think they liked it -- judging from the very entertaining BabelFish translation. We recommend reading this aloud.

3/26/07 - The aforementioned NPR feature is up! Sixteen kilobytes per second never sounded so sweet. OK, not sweet exactly but what the hell... it's national! Check it out: NPR's Open Mic.

3/26/07 - Adoration In Retreat has just been added to the catalog at Kool Kat Musik, Ray Gianchetti's online pop emporium based in Sewell, NJ. Ray gets our vote for hardest-working blurb compiler! Thanks, Ray.

3/19/07 - Another good vibration on the album--this from The Power Popaholic. Check it out! Much thanks to Aaron at powerpopaholic.com.

3/14/07 - Just caught this very nice mention of the album at the Absolute Powerpop blog. Thanks, Steve!

3/12/07 - Hello, friends. We finally got our big mailing out a couple of weeks ago, and have already gotten back some good news:

First, the beautiful people at Not Lame Recordings have decided to include Adoration In Retreat in their catalog. Not Lame is a label and online record store that specializes in power pop. For the last 12 years they've been selecting and making available a lot of really good music, and we're proud to be included. For a sample of their fine work, check out the weekly Not Lame podcast.

da planeAnd second... our song "Keep Me Around" is going to be featured on the "Open Mic" page of NPR's All Songs Considered! Yes, this is national exposure, folks. We'll post the date as soon as we have it. "Open Mic" features one song a day, Monday through Friday. The features are archived. If you miss it the day it runs, you can go back and check it out anytime.

test pattern Stay tuned for our "making of" video "Adoration In Retreat: Blood On the Tracks." Two minutes, 55 seconds of animated YouTube fodder, to the tune of "Wipeout By Decree."

We've got a MySpace page, but we don't get over there too much. There's some guilt about that... we're friends now with Neil Young, Teenage Fanclub, Martin Newell, Willis Alan Ramsey, and others, including a few people we actually know, and it couldn't have happened without MySpace. We should probably loosen up and show some gratitude. Please drop by and be our friend.
